Senior Accounting Manager

Job Description

We're partnering with a great company in Sacramento that is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong manufacturing background. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-established organization where you can make an immediate impact.

What They're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Manufacturing industry experience required (standard costing, inventory, BOMs, WIP, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close
  • Experience improving processes, streamlining workflows, and partnering with operations
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end and year-end close
  • Manage costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff
  • Support audits and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and leadership teams
  • Drive process improvements across accounting functions
